Video Editor Suite

Trim, arrange and export short clips without installing an editor.

Clips in order

Not every edit needs a timeline application. Trimming the dead air off the front of a clip, or joining two short recordings into one, is most of what “video editing” actually means day to day.

This plays each clip once, at its normal speed, between the in and out points you set, and redraws every frame onto a canvas that is being recorded — which is what lets clips of different resolutions sit one after another in a single output. It is a real, if basic, cut: no transitions, no titles, just trim, order and join.

How to use it

  1. Add one or more video files — they appear in a list below in the order you added them.
  2. Set the In and Out time in seconds for each clip to trim it.
  3. Use ↑ and ↓ to reorder clips, and × to remove one.
  4. Press Trim and export. Each clip plays once, in order, while it is re-recorded — so exporting takes about as long as the trimmed clips add up to.
  5. Preview the result, then press Download.

Questions

Why does exporting take real time instead of finishing instantly?

Because there is no bundled video encoder library here — that would be a many-megabyte download for a tool that is supposed to be light. Instead, each clip is actually played once and its frames are captured live, the same way a screen recording works, which means export time roughly equals the trimmed length of your clips.

Can I add a transition between clips?

Not currently — clips cut directly from one to the next. If you need a fade, trim a fraction of a second of overlap-free black at the join instead.

Does the output keep the original resolution?

The canvas is sized to the largest clip you added, and every clip is fitted inside that frame (with black bars if the aspect ratios differ) rather than stretched, so nothing gets distorted.
