Split PDF

Pull a page range out of a PDF and save it as a new file.

Ranges and single pages can be mixed, separated by commas.

Send someone one page of a contract, not the whole thing. Pull the appendix out of a report. Keep just the pages you actually need from a scan. All of that is “split a PDF”, and it does not need an account or a wait in an upload queue.

This reads the PDF's real page structure and copies only the pages you ask for into a fresh file, so the result opens normally in any PDF reader and prints exactly like the pages did in the original.

How to use it

  1. Choose a PDF file. Its page count appears once it has loaded.
  2. Type the pages you want, e.g. 1-3 for a range or 1,3,5 for specific pages — you can mix both, like 1-2,5.
  3. Press Split, then Download the new PDF.

Questions

Does this work on a password-protected PDF?

Not if it is encrypted with an open password — the browser cannot read the pages without that password. If your PDF only restricts printing or editing but opens without a password, it will usually still work.

Will the split PDF look exactly like the original pages?

Yes. The pages themselves are copied as-is, including images, fonts and layout — nothing is re-rendered or flattened.

Can I pull out every page as a separate file in one go?

Not yet — this tool produces one new PDF from one range at a time. Run it again with a different range if you need several separate files.
