Privacy Notice
This notice explains what Sigma Tool Hub collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read rather than skimmed.
The single most important point
Files you open in a tool are not uploaded. Processing happens in your browser using JavaScript. We never receive the content of a document, image, video or audio file you use here.
What we collect
- Email address — only when you type it into a form and submit it. Used to send the result you asked for and occasional new-tool notes.
- Phone number — optional, only if you provide it. Used only if you ask us to contact you that way.
- Which tool was used — stored alongside your email so the message you get is the right one.
That is the whole list. There is no account system, no password, and no profile of your browsing.
What we do not collect
- No file contents, ever.
- No payment details — the tools are free and no payment is taken.
- No precise location data.
- No data from children deliberately. If you are under 13, please do not submit a form.
Advertising and cookies
This site is supported by advertising. Google AdSense may set cookies and use device identifiers to select and measure ads. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and read how Google handles data in advertising at Google's partner sites notice.
Where consent is legally required for advertising cookies — in the UK and EEA, for example — a consent banner is shown before any such cookie is set, and you can refuse without losing access to the tools. Refusing simply means less relevant advertising.
Local storage on your device
Two things are kept in your browser's own storage and never transmitted: your theme preference (light or dark) and, if a form could not be sent, a copy of the lead details you submitted so it is not lost. Clearing site data in your browser removes both.
Who processes data on our behalf
- Hosting — the site is served from a hosting provider who keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.
- Email delivery — your address is passed to our mail provider only to send the message you asked for.
- Google AdSense — advertising, as described above.
- Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google, which sees the request and your IP address. You can block this in your browser without breaking the tools.
How long we keep it
Email addresses are kept while you are happy to receive messages, and deleted on request. Ask at any time and it is removed, no explanation needed.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. You also have the right to object to direct marketing, and any email we send includes a way to stop receiving it. Write to hello@sigmatoolhub.com and we will act within 30 days.
Security
Data in transit is encrypted with HTTPS. Because the site holds almost nothing about you, the risk surface is small by design — which is a better answer than promising to protect a large database.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes materially, the date below changes and any significant change is noted on the home page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated notice.
