Watermark Tool

Stamp a text watermark onto an image — tiled, centred or in a corner.

Preview

A proof sent to a client before the invoice is paid, a preview shared before a shoot is delivered in full, a photo posted publicly that you would rather people didn't lift wholesale — a watermark is the difference between a usable preview and a giveaway.

This draws your text onto the image on a canvas, tiled diagonally across the whole frame or placed once wherever you choose, and re-exports the result as a new file. Everything — the source photo and the watermarked copy — stays in this tab.

How to use it

  1. Choose an image and type your watermark text.
  2. Pick Tiled to repeat it diagonally across the whole photo, which is hardest to crop out, or a single position for a lighter touch.
  3. Adjust size, colour, opacity and angle until it looks right in the live preview.
  4. Press Download to save the watermarked copy as a JPEG or PNG.

Questions

Can I use a logo image instead of text?

Not yet — this version places text only. Text is legible at any size and easy to make dense enough to resist cropping, which covers the most common use: marking a preview or a proof as not-final.

Can someone remove the watermark?

A determined person with photo-editing skill can remove almost any watermark, tiled or not — nothing running in a browser can prevent that. A tiled, semi-opaque watermark across the whole image is the practical deterrent: removing it cleanly takes real effort, which is usually enough for previews and proofs.

Does this reduce the image quality?

JPEG export re-compresses the image, the same as any JPEG save; PNG is lossless. Pick PNG if the source quality matters more than file size.
